Former Pastor Henatsch shows us his favourite places on the Elbe islands

Event information – "IBA discovery tour: my Elbe islands"

The tour is perfect for a successful Sunday afternoon and exploring the project area of the IBA Hamburg. This is the second time that Hildebrand Henatsch, former pastor of the Emmauskirche in the Reiherstieg district, is guiding the tour around "his" Elbe islands. On the "IBA discovery tour: my Elbe islands", visitors are taken to the Kreuzkirche in Alt-Kirchdorf, to the Vering canal and the honey factory. Other stops will be selected IBA projects. On Sunday, 26 August 2012, interested parties are invited to take part in the tandem tour; IBA managing director Uli Hellweg will accompany his guest on the tour of the Elbe islands.

The IBA Hamburg wants its series "IBA discovery tour: my Elbe islands" to show its own projects, but also to provide a very personal look at the sights and delights of the Elbe islands. Hildebrand Henatsch shows his very private favourite places on the cycle tour, and gives the participants a personal insight into his home. Participants are also invited to join him for coffee and cake during a break.
